Snake Invasion on Election Day

One of the 2 night tiger snakes hanging on the wire cage to get some relief from the heat.

On the day of Queensland election, people handing out how-to vote cards  had a surprise in finding not one but two baby night tiger snakes hanging nearby on the wire cage of the sports shed.

Night tiger snakes are poisonous but because their fangs sit in the back of their mouth, they have not been known to be deadly to any Australians.

Fortunately, some would-be voters arrived just in time to remove the reptiles who were not very pleased to be disturbed from their sleep.
