Being such a small school, much of our communication takes place co-incidentally as children are dropped off or picked up. There are however specific moments of parent/teacher communication.
Early in first term, a Meet and Greet Evening is held at the school. Teachers explain the Explicit Improvement Agenda for the year, their philosophy and classroom requirements and operations.
Afterwards, the P&C provides a barbeque.
At the end of Term 2 and 4, departmental report cards, commenting on achievements and efforts. Parent interviews are offered in alignment with the release of report cards. Students are encouraged to attend progress meetings with their parents.
Parents are encouraged not to wait for set interview times. We encourage parents to progressively discuss concerns or issues with their child/rens academic and social well being throughout the year.
