Learning at home refers to the ways schools will maintain teaching and learning in the event of a prolonged school closure or student absence.
The health and wellbeing of all children and students is our priority and we are committed to ensuring that their learning continues during emergencies such as bushfires, cyclones, flooding and the current Coronavirus pandemic.
If there are circumstances that interrupt normal school attendance or temporary school closures, we will provide advice and learning that can be completed at home.
If schools temporarily close, teachers may move some or all of your children’s learning online.
The following website:
https://education.qld.gov.au/curriculum/learning-at-home
has curriculum resources for Mathematics and English which are available for students to complete at their own pace at home. Students in Prep to Year 3 may require additional support to read and understand instructions.
The resources provided here are a sample of activities that can be printed and are designed as a support tool for students to continue their learning and engage in familiar activities essential to their learning and wellbeing during any temporary school closures.
